Which is more important? MISSIONAL PRIORITY or THEOLOGICAL PURITY?
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
I think we can all agree that you need both and you need a balance. And that we need the Holy Spirit.<br><br>We can also agree (I think) that going with one extreme over the other will be a very bad thing.<br><br>But the real question is what happens within the balance when push comes to shove — that is, when we have to choose one over the other.<br><br>For example, in the Gospel, it seems that Jesus chooses missional priority over theological purity on the issue of divorce… and in terms of who he hangs out with, etc.<br><br>So, yes to balance — but when push comes to shove, which wins?
