I find that I spending a lot of time lately with addicts (porn, sex, drugs, alcohol… you name it), drug dealers, prostitutes and those in our prison system (inmates, parolees, etc).

This is new for me.

As a pastor, you don’t really get to spend time with folks like that (OK… some addicts, but that was about the limit). 

And here is the funny thing… I don’t despise, dislike or feel uncomfortable around them. In fact, I kind of like them. They aren’t projects to me, but are becoming friends. 

And sometimes it feels like I am going crazy… but others it feels like I am really learning to follow Jesus and love the way he loves.
