I’m Not A Christian Anymore

“I’m not a Christian anymore.”

That is what I was recently told by someone — all because I am gay.

What they said didn’t bother me, because I know it is not true.

How do I know that it is not true.

Jesus told me… this morning… and I trust in Him.

Jesus Christ is my savior… because HE IS MY LORD.

More so… HE IS LORD of LORDS, LORD of ALL, WORTHY of MY WORSHIP — and worthy of yours too.

HE is KING OF KINGS… ALMIGHTY GOD… EVERLASTING FATHER… PRINCE OF PEACE.

HE has given me everything — and in return simply asks for everything in return.

And I gladly give it him — only a fool hangs on to that which he cannot use. And my life, apart from Him, is nothing.

I surrender my life to Jesus… again and again and again.

And never has surrender been filled with such joy!

Freedom!

Hope!

Grace!

Healing!

Wholeness!

Shalom!

So I gladly surrender…

I am a CHRIST FOLLOWER.

I can be no other — and never will.

I am my BELOVED’S… and HIS BANNER over ME is LOVE.

So it doesn’t bother me when people say silly things. Because Jesus whispers in my ear every morning… and I know I am HIS.
