I am an unapologetic fan and defender of Rick Warren.  He is one of my personal heroes and mentors (from a distance).  There are few pastors and disciples I have more respect for than Rick.  There are many issues — both theological and political — that I disagree with him on (for example, women in ministry, etc).  But the fact that I disagree with Rick on some things doesn’t mean I can’t respect him, learn from him, etc.
